The Texas Wine and Grape Growers Association is the state’s oldest and largest association primarily focused on betterment of the Texas wine industry. TWGGA’s mission is to promote the production and appreciation of premium grapes and fine wines from Texas and to represent a unified state industry with common marketing, governmental, and educational goals.
The only state organization to consistently advocate on behalf of Texas wineries and grape growers, TWGGA membership allows you to support the protection, enhancement, and advancement of the Texas wine industry. TWGGA advocacy efforts include:
- Representing members with TABC, the Texas legislature, and other local, state, and national agencies and organizations.
- Defending funding to continue the Agrilife Extension Agent program.
- Advancing Texas wines nationwide with legislation, such as 2021’s wine labeling bill (HB 1957, SB 1402) and 2021’s alcohol to-go bill (HB 1204, SB 298).
- Providing access to an outstanding platform of advocacy tools with the new VineRoots program.
