Fredericksburg Food & Wine Festival

October 25–26, 2024

The Fredericksburg Food & Wine Festival, October 25–26, showcases food, wine, craft beverages, and Texas Hill Country culture. The 2024 festival will feature an array of activities, including an intimate “street”  dinner, off-site interactive brunch, yoga and wine experience, family-friendly food activation, and grand tasting event. With over 25 culinary booths, 38 wineries, breweries, and distilleries, and specialty activations, including a curated Sundry Shop and Sparkling Wine Garden, the festival promises something for every palate.

Each harvest has its own challenges and opportunities—this season is no different. That’s why TWGGA is inviting you to participate in the Texas Growers’ Roundtable on August 20. Join a group of fellow grape growers from across the state to discuss this year’s unique dynamics, foster collaboration, build partnerships, and contribute to the growth and sustainability of the Texas industry.

This year’s unique challenges make the exchange of knowledge and strategies more critical than ever. Registration is free and open to TWGGA members and nonmembers.

TWGGA North Texas Regional Meeting

Join fellow winery and vineyard owners in North Texas for an enriching afternoon of learning and networking at the upcoming TWGGA Regional Meeting.

What to Expect: 

• Bring your questions and be ready to engage in discussion on the state of the industry and business strategy, featuring TWGGA President John Matthews and regional experts.
• Explore innovative methods for elevating tasting room experiences and wine club subscriptions (and encouraging return customers!) during panel discussions between experienced North Texas vineyard and winery owners. Panelists will include Mark Rogers, Marker Cellars Winery; Roxanne Myers, Lost Oak Winery; Bob Landon, Landon Winery; Patrick Whitehead, Blue Ostrich Winery & Vineyard; Chris Hornbaker, Eden Hill Vineyard & Winery; and Chris McIntosh, Edge of the Lake Vineyard.
• End the afternoon with a local wine community happy hour, where you’ll have the opportunity to sample wines from area producers. Have a special wine you’d like to share? Bring it along!

• Explore innovative methods for elevating tasting room experiences, implementing effective promotional strategies to increase foot traffic (and encourage return visits!), leveraging the resources provided by your local convention and visitor bureau, and harnessing the collective marketing power of your TWGGA community to set new standards for the industry as a whole.
• Additionally, gain valuable insights during a pre-harvest briefing, where essential tools and tips will be shared to support you as the bustling harvest season approaches.
• The afternoon will cap off with happy hour and the chance to sample wines from various producers in the region.
